Electronic Dog Sitter.

Thanks to the marvels of modern technology your dog can now watch TV.

Click here to read about how to entertain your dog when your not at home.

Before there was TV, and now there is HD-TV, (HIGH DEFINITION).

A television picture is not constant.   The images you see on “the box” are a bunch of still frame images flashing in sequence quicker than the rate at which our eyes scan, therefore it appears as a constant moving picture.

ImageDogs, on the other hand, scan quicker than we do (about 70 frames per sec) so when a TV is putting out 60 frames a sec (this is called the flicker rate) they see a hole bunch of really quick flashes and it has little attraction to them, sort of like staring at a strobe light.

HDTV still uses the same electrical frequency and has the same flicker rate yet it has two sets of images interlaced and flashing in sequence.  With two images the screen is never blank and therefore the HDTV image appears constant to the dog as well.

So, you can now use the electronic baby sitter with your dog too.

Try it, prevent boredom in your dog, rent “Milo and Otis” and press play on your HDTV, you’ll be amused at your dog’s interest.  But don’t be surprised if you come home and the house smells of popcorn and “Bella” is sitting on the couch with the remote in her lap.

Disclaimer:  Watching TV should not be a substitute for a walk in the park, but if you are really too busy to walk your dog call us, we’ll gladly do it…and do it well!   Phone 1300 BOW WOW.  Proudly caring for you pet when you can’t.
